    Default Center console question

I'm thinking ahead to my future transmission swap, and I'm wondering about the center console.

I really like the look of this, rather than the vast expanse of flat plastic that usually surrounds the shifter:

I'm referring specifically to the piece that sits right around the shifter and is raised a bit, with wells on either side for, um, storage, I guess.

Is it OEM? Is it part of the center console, or is it some sort of insert? Does anybody know anything about it?

    Thanks.
