    I call my car a beemer. I'd never heard of this rule.

    Any time that i have heard anyone call a BMW something else, like "beemer", it has also been pronouced "beemer" and not bimmer. Maybe its just the spelling?

    I guess you meant to go to beemer.info and not bimmer.info?
