the door brake aka door check has probably died, it's not hard to replace and it should be replaced before it rips the end out of the door as that's not a easy repair 51 21 8 155 698 should cost around $30
My drivers door does not open fully. You know how it has notches with resistance as you open the door, my last notch is the full extention of the door. Before I rip it to bits, has anyone seen this before??

Driver's door makes noise when opening, sort of scraping noise. What's going on here?

it ether needs some lube or it's on it's last leg, id change it as they can do some damage when they crap, seen em take out the window regulator in rare cases and busting out the end of the door is common
