    Hi All,

    My car is 1995 530I built 03/95. Has Nikasil M60.

    No. The M60 has no variable timing.
    '01 540it, 6/01
    '03 325i 5 speed, 9/02
    '10 535ix. 9/09
    '10 mini 6 speed
    '15 mini countryman 6 speed

    just curious, whats the month/year VANOS was implemented? my e34 production year is april 1992...

    Open the hood. You can tell. The VANOS has a big bump on the head, drive side.
    '01 540it, 6/01

    the m50 motors got it in 93
