This is the dealership I assume? How much did they quote you to reset the SRS alone? Just wondering...
Need an oil change, too lazy to do it myself.
While it's in, they'll
1 - change the oil.
2 - reset the service indicator
3 - reset the SRS light (hooray!)
4 - check out the drive shaft -> replace the guibo if needed
5 - check the bearings (getting some intermittent growling at lower speeds)
If the bearings are going, how much of a pain in the ass are they to replace? BMA makes reference to a special puller tool and 214 ft/lbs of torque ... maybe I should just pay the shop to do it..?
TIA.

some people can actually afford dealer service, the problems I find disturbing is that the dealer is the best place to **** your **** up.

you mean the rear or front wheel bearings or the driveshaft center bearing?
Front wheel bearings are cake.
It took ~ 1 hour for me to do them.
I have 2 new dust shields if you need them...just pay for postage + $5.
To be more specific.

im having the dealer pull them right now (not gonne move no matter how hard i tried), hopefully i should get the strut assembleys back tomorrow sans bearings and upper mount.
Nope, local indy. Nashville Autohaus, if anyone's interested; they're honest, quick, know their stuff, and not too expensive.

Front wheels. Hopefully the center bearing on the shaft is ok.

The only difficult thing about the front wheel bearings are the torque specs. I also lucked out and picked up a 3/4 drive socket and breaker bar that fit the nut. A 6 foot length of pipe on the breaker bar took it right off.
