disconnect the batt for an hour?
Hi all....before you say it I know...I know....put gas in the darn thing.....
Well I nearly* ran out of gas the other day in my 1993 525i touring...she sputtered and kicked as I was pulling into the gas station. In the process the check engine light came on.... I am having no problems (since the refuel) but the darn light won't go away. So I tried to check the codes today and was going to clear them afterward, though I'm getting no codes. I am turning the key to the #2 pos. pressing the acc. pedal 5 times within 5 seconds, the check engine light begins to blink....one long time and then a couple of short .5 sec. blinks then repeats but shows me no codes or the 1444 code to tell me there are not codes...am I doing something wrong? I won't this darn light to go away..
THanks for your help,

disconnect the batt for an hour?
Im not sure if your asking or if your suggusting : ) I purchase the car about two months ago, the previous owner let it sit for about three weeks and the battery died?
so it was disconnected for a little while, or should I try disconnecting?
THanks,
