    The oil level warning comes on in my car when the oil level is about halfway between the marks.Add 1/2 litre or so and see if that fixes the warning

    yep same as Pauls, right about the middle of the grooves I get the oil message.

    when i removed my sensor, it was pretty gummy.

    after spraying it out with brake cleaner (half a can, for about half an hour), it was much much cleaner and you could hear the little thing inside that moves again!

    if you do that, make sure you get a new o-ring
