    I have mine almost behind the rear view on the drivers side, the tinted part of the window blocks laser so I had to move it down.

    Oh ok, yea, I don't have the front window tint applied. The hadest thing to do/longest, was to find an ignition power lead. Until I stubled upon the connector up there, not used or attached to anything. tested the wires & Presto! Good to go. I wonder what it was made/put there for...

    looking at your picture made me look in my car. There isnt room above my mirror to put one...weird.

    It looks like the mirror is sitting too low. I don't think it's in the correct position.

    ive thought so before in the past but wasn't sure. I do believe the window was replaced a while back. Looks like the y put back in wrong position.

    Mine is hideously low, I just never got around to putting it up higher.

    Radar detector ?

    I call them sun glasses, and I find them much more useful on ones head than on the rear vision mirror.

    BTW, didn't you know that Ray Ban aviators are back ?

    my shield is original and the button is glued about an inch from the headliner.
