Thanks heaps!! I didn't realise mine came with factory sports suspension (option 226). Also I had to do a translation to discover that option 563 (BEL.MAKE-UP SPIEGEL) is a makeup/vanity mirror. I'm the third owner since new and the car when first sold was leased through a financial services company. It appears it was fairly well optioned.

I'm about to fit new Eibach springs and Koni adjustable dampeners so maybe the difference in ride quality won't be as much as I was expecting compared to the original package... especially after a total front end overhaul!
Even allowing for me fitting 17" 'T' Stars sometime back I always felt the ride was somewhat on the firm side for what I thought was stock suspension.

Concerning the factory sport suspension option. My E34 doesn't appear to be lowered as far as I can tell. Can someone tell whether the sports package included different springs, shocks and swaybars? - Cheers!

RE: 438 WOOD TRIM Would the #438 indicate which type of wood trim I have. I was thinking about replacing my shifter tray

Also, I never saw anything related to keyless remote. Does that mean that I have no wiring harness where it would normally be. (I know I've asked this before, but) Do I have to go under the steering wheel now to hook up any type of keyless remote?
