Anybody?
Please settle a disagreement -
It is not truely required for the piston to be TDC when adjusting valves, just that the rocker arm cam followers are completely off of the cam profile, correct?
Thanks
Anybody?
As far as i know, if the eccentrics are off of the cam profile, the valve can be adjusted. Just think about it.

that is correct
that's correct, as soon as the valves are free you can adjust them and you also can adjust them on several cilinders in one time
Thanks all. That is what I thought.
I just used a black marker to mark the rocker arms which had been adjusted.

being in the right position 180 from the rocker, because the motor sit at a slant it can lead to mis adjustment.
