Default sacrafice a cheap long screw driver

and make a tool to release the door handle cover, exposing two screws or bolts, I think some of the later models got jiggy and turned things inside the door. so you'll still need to remove the interior panel.

You can acces the release from a little access hole caovered with a black plug at the end of the door just above the latch. just heat up and bend the tip of a long thin driver into a small hook to grap the sliding release for the handle.

If I remeber it's pull to release, and push to lock.

A nail and vice-grips worked well enough to release the door handle cover. I removed the screw/bolt that was revealed. The locking mechanism is still held fast though.

In this image, the two red arrows point to piece of metal that have some play between them, which i suspect is my problem.

BTW, its push to release, pull to lock.

    Default Unscrew the collar

on the lock, and check to see if there is a screw or nut for that thing oposite the lock.

Mine is an older model so that was a torx screw, but the newer models may have a nut inside the door.

    Try this site:

Worked for me - but I think I used an allen key rather than the Torx

Its the window track, not the window itself.
