    Default rear crankshaft seal

    got a small leak. a few drops here and there. how do you go about replacing this seal. i mean could i do it myself.

    This is equivalent to a clutch job. You need to remove the flywheel.
    '01 540it, 6/01
    '03 325i 5 speed, 9/02
    '10 535ix. 9/09
    '10 mini 6 speed
    '15 mini countryman 6 speed

    two ways you can do it either engine out or gearbox out , go the gearbox route it's less work
