    Default Need center cap sollution

    Hi guys,

I have the RD wheels pictured below (not my car) but my center cap stickers are in poor shape. RD no longer makes the 55mm cap or sticker as the wheel which they fit is no longer in production. I looked in to getting bmw stickers but they only make 3 sizes, 2 are too big and 1 is too small. Does anyone have any ideas??
I want to get my wheels refinished but if there's no solution for my caps then...

I must not be functional today because I didn't understand that either!

You're saying you can't do it?

i don't know if this sounds stupid or not, but get the small sticker and paint a black pinstripe around the edge of the centre cap, or just paint the entire cap black and place the sticker dead centre, so it looks like a pinstripe, just a thought

There is one that I know of - it is listed as a "plaque" - 70mm in
diameter. It has been used since the early 1980's, and is still used on
    the E39 steel wheel covers

    Part number 36 131 181 079

BMW has discontinued all the stickers they used to offer. I understand they
are re-designing the logo. Anyways, below are part numbers of the various
wheel emblems they make. The list is not complete. Maybe Ron will post the
    prices.

Following are their numbers, I'll post to the Digest too.
    36 13 1 108 346 45mm Slight curve
    36 13 1 110 857 80mm Slight curve
    36 13 1 110 858 60mm
    36 13 1 113 191 57mm
    36 13 1 117 648 65mm
    36 13 1 122 132 70mm Flat

Some are slightly curved, others are absolutely flat.

Thanks Warren. I tested out the 45mm curved ones yesterday. They were a bit small but they would work in a pinch. I could just paint the outer edge of the cap black to match the roundel sticker.
