thats common with low air pressure. the tire either WAS low or you developed a leak on your drive, the heat generated will cause the side to fail eventually. Make sure you spin the wheel on the balancing machine to make sure it isnt all bent up since it was most likely driving on the rim with solid rubber between the road and rim. I drove on a leaker for about 5 miles and the sidewalls were ready to peel apart before I even noticed I was driving on a flat. gotta love these cars.
