Hi,
Can you be more specific in what you mean?
For a manual you can use Haynes Service and repair manual.

Is the new engine running normally, poorly, or not at all? If it's running poorly or not at all, and all the plugs are wet with fuel, I would suspect an ignition problem. Check the crank position sensor, engine grounds, etc.Originally Posted by salih
Bring it round to my place Saturday morning and I'll have a look at it.Originally Posted by salih

my question plz what I do with " Check the crank position sensor"
Plz tell your advise how to fix it
It's the sensor mounted above the toothed ring around the crankshaft pulley. Disconnect it and replace with a known good sensor, then try starting the car.Originally Posted by salih
I assume your car doesn't start. Right?
It sounds like you have ignition problems. Since the engine has just been replaced, there's a lot of opportunity for disconnected, defective or mis-connected sensors, dislodged relays, cut leads, disconnected ground straps, and defective new engines. You probably need to work through the "Engine Driveability Troubleshooting" table in the Bentley book.

You're right. I wasn't being clear in my original message. I wrote "same model year," but I should have written "same engine." I.e., if it's the same engine and engine sensors, the ECU should work. If it's VANOS vs. non-VANOS (VANOS was introduced, I believe, with the 93 model year) then it will probably not work.Originally Posted by CarloE34

What was wrong with the old engine? You could try with the sensor from the old one.
