My friend recently developed this problem - an E28 with an M20B27 ETA engine, we recently gave it a decent tuneup. It doesnt leak any fluids, engine itself is fine.

The problem is - the car wont start, there is fuel pressure as far as i know, there is no spark. There is no spark even directly from the coil. I swapped in a new 12V coil to test out if that was the problem, and apparently it wasnt. There is still no spark. What do you guys think is an issue here?

PS - in the tuneup we didnt give it any new ignition components and the car was running perfectly and this just happened out of the blue.
