Need new Computer?

Some of you guys seem to pop computers in and out from different years like its no big deal. I dont want to chince on buying a new computer but am I risking anything major by getting one from a fairly low mileage M50 or a compatible one?

I can drive it for a few days more if need be and Im gonna do a little more research tonight, but I use this car everyday so I gotta take care of it sooner than later.
