Make sure you get the right bulb that's pictured in here, the wrong bulb will burn out real fast.
I have a '95 525i sedan. The OBC display next to the radio in the dash no longer illumates. The display in the driver instrument cluster works just fine and the s/r button on the OBC cluster works fine. It's just the OBC display itself doesn't work.
Is it a regular bulb that I need to replace? Any ideas?
thanks!

Vee ave vays of dealing vid your kind...........
The correct bulb part number is: BMW part no. 62 11 1 368 299
Don't let the dealer give you any jazz about part numbers, their ETK still shows the older e28 6V part number and will burn out within a week. The correct 12V 1.2 watt bulb will have a black plastic base.

WOW!! An incredibly quick reply. Thank you SO much! I've been working on a few items this week (repaired non-functioning back-up lights by replacing the switch, fixed the headrests so they go up and down again) and this is one I wanted to finish out.Originally Posted by Blitzkrieg Bob

Thanks for the responses guys. I've been going through this in the touring. It has been eating bulbs but the dealer is giving me a green base bulb and not the black ones.
Ticks me off, I've bought 3 sets in the last 3 months.
