Default How to know when your Check Control Module is dying?

Hi Guys, been a very long time since I posted...been overseas for over a year. Get back into the E34 and somone tried to jump start it in my absence and I fear has done some damage...especially to the CCM module. It will not stop "bing'ing" about crap like Catalyst, Bonnett Open, Front Left Tyre Pressure, Oil Level Sensor...just random warning messages. It is like torture with it making noises at about 30 second intervals!

Should I just go to the breakers and pick up a second hand one or is there some sort of fix for this module...similar to the LKM?

    Cheers??

    Default CCM is sensitive to

resistance, so clean up the terminal on the E box and modual and see if it helps.

ya, when the ccm is removed it just comes up with the check control message.

..I know I was surprised as hell when I saw that the germans of the 80's had thought of tyre pressure monitoring!!
