Default What do you use to clean your wheels?

I have those 15" rims that's factory from 1991 and they get black in 2 days tops.... what do you guys use to clean out that black brake dust from your wheels??

For painted wheels I find the Castrol Super Clean very good product....almost no touch action - spray on and power wash off and the rims look shiny clean.

is there anything I can do to the rims so they don't attract brake dust so quickly? Maybe some waxing or what not?

I use Raybestos QS Dustless pads, with a nice wheel wax (Dupont Teflon Wheel Wax) every few months. The dust comes off with some water, whenever there is dust.

I use SuperGreen to clean, it works well. Spray, soak, scrub a bit. The Dupont wax for wheels Macv uses helps, I used to use standard wax on mine.

I just use car shampoo in water, and a soft cloth to clean mine. Takes a little longer, but it's the only way I know to get good consistent results. I also wash the inside of my wheels, as with the M Parallels, it's easy to get your hands inside.

I use Wheel Wax every 4 weeks or so to keep them looking good for longer, it makes it harder to brake dust to stick to them

If you replace your pads with ceramics they'll produce minimum dust and you won't need to buy any more expensive wheel cleaning products.
Just normal soapy water will clean them.
