anyone from southern England area???

Hey all,
I am heading over the pond to England in June for about 6 months and I was just wondering if there were any members of the board from around that area. I think the closest town to where I will be staying is Gosport. Some pub recommendations would be welcomed also.

be like 10 metres from the shore! Nova Scotia, Gosport ... hey, are you crossing the pond in your boat! By the way, I'm up in Birmingham, which is about 3 hours drive at UK motorway speeds straight up north from there. Unfortunately I can't help you with regard to good local pubs down there but I like your priorities in researching around the island culture!
