Sounds like you're referring to #3.
Trying to fix a broken hose on my m50 powered '93 touring. It goes from the intake boot to the front of the intake. It appears to be some sort of breather hose but I am having trouble finding it on the etk. This one has completely broken and about 3 inches of it from the boot are now gone.
Anyone show me the diagram with it?

I just fixed #10 this morning
do you reckon that can be done without taking the intake manifold off?Originally Posted by RallyD

i simply repaired it, hopefully permanently but if it fails again I won't be upset.
It was cracked and split at the 45* elbow coupler that plugs into the intake pipe just before the throttle body.
I cleaned the end and sealed the crack with some RTV sealant, then zip tied it back onto the elbow.
I noticed the cracked hose when I removed the MAF to clean it.
The hose repair and clean MAF definitely improved performance and economy.
I can't say how much, as its only been a few miles of driving since but it looks/feels good so far.
