Scott, post the radio's serial #, or call just about any dealer.
My radio has finally developed the bleeding LCDs. There is one for sale locally here from a '95 E36 that looks identical to mine. But the guy doesn't have the code for it (didn't even know what I was talking about). He doesn't have the owners manual so he doesn't have the cards either.
Can I get the code from BMW? Is there a way to repair the display?
I've wanted to stay with the OEM cause I like the look and the weatherband. But the newer radios are really nice. Has anyone found a new radio that looks good, has the same color lights, maybe have a front panel aux in jack? Maybe even an HD radio?

I can get you the code, so can any dealer.
Cool, thanks. I'll get with you if I get it. More I look at new ones, more I like them.

I just changed out my stock radio from a 1989 535....very little use. Car had only 43600 on it when I bought it. I will sell it to you for 25 shipped in U.S. Because its 1989 it does not have wire harness. All wires have to be connected individualy. P.M. me if your interested.
I also have the code for it.
