you test the coolant temp sensors?
I know idle issues have been covered ad nauseum and I've done a bunch of searching, so sorry to bring this up! Now that it's been getting a bit warmer in Cleveland, I noticed that my car idles at ~1000 rpm when it gets warmed up. I used the Bentley and the results were:
-TPS voltages check ok
-AFM resistance changes when the "flap" is moved (but not linearly, it kind of jumps around)
-ICV hums when on and 1-3 pin resistance measures ~ 4 ohms high.
I cleaned the ICV to ensure that it's not sticking and the engine idles perfectly when cold. So what are everyone's thoughts?
Oh, 1992 535 manual
