Default Years and models of the E32?

I am curious about what cars were made during what years. When was the 750i produced? Was it replaced by the 750iL? I cna't seem to find any 750i E32s for sale at all.

Is it just me, or are there absolutely no "750i"s for sale... anywhere online in the US??? I've been looking and I can't find a thing, let alone a decent thing - I know I'm going to find a beater if I find anything at all at this point.

Of course, what are we here for - we can reverse the process!

I'm curious to find out if BMW produced them from late 92-94, after they made some improvements, or if it was only the "iL" versions of the V8 and V12.

Keep looking there are plenty (il's). Usually they are cheap too unless you manage to find one someone has cared for all these years.
Be very careful about buying one of these. Most suffer badly from neglect. DONT buy one sight unseen.
I believe they were made all through the E32 run and all were long wheelbase.

Oh I know that there are plenty of ILs, most high milage, but some that are decent with lower miles and a full record. The thing is, I can't find any of the "750i" models anywhere, yet on 7forum.com, there seem to be guys who have them. Did they only make them for the european amrket? I could have sworn that i've seen one on craigslist before, just not anymore.

I've never seen one. To the best of my knowledge all V-12 cars were long wheelbase. I still have the sales brochure from '88 and there is no mention of the shorter wheelbase. A pity, really, as the stretched version isn't as good looking in my eyes. Can't speak to the Euro market cars.
Perhaps Shogun will chime in here.

No, not all 750 are long wheel base, the 750i was also avalaible.
E32 were produced from 09/1986 till early 1994 (March).

Were they imported to the US in very small numbers? I should ask on 7-forum to talk to an owner...

US only long wheel, as far as I know. Alpina produced most of the short wheel base.
