In my excitement i purchased http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....9133&rd=1&rd=1
And then i went and looked on eibachs pdf and it says its for 525 and there is a different one for 535..
Should i try to go back on the sale and let the seller know?
Or will these fit and just sink down a little more due to the M30s increased weight.
*feeling stupid*

Okay just going through this in my head and..
a 91 M50 525 (what this set is for) weighs 1597kg
my 88 M30 535 weighs 1610kg.
So thats 13kg different, all at the front i would assume, but the 535 has its battery in the back seat, so the weight up front would likely be the same, and the extra 13kg would be spread out..
So im going to get them, unless anyone knows of a reason that they wont fit, or my maths is bad

Can anyone else comment on this.
I contacted the seller, his reply was "Hi, The springs you won & have paid for will not suit your car as the engine size, month & year of your vehicle does not match the item described."
Great, thats what the catalogue tells me... but it doesnt bloody help.
Im not worried about weight at all, as the cars weigh the same.
But are the FITTMENT of each car the same?

the springs will fit, there arent many springs that have a listing for the small and larger engine cars...simply put my 530 sits low all around after a couple years.

Just called up http://www.carshine.com.au/ and asked a couple questions. The guy said the fittment is the same on all the models.
But the difference lies in the spring hardness due to engine weight.
So a 535 and 525 differ by 13kg, and the 535 moves the battery to the boot.
Can someone please comment! :P

I think you will be fine... Don't sweat about it... Eibach doesn't officially provide for 540i... yet everyone installed Eibach onto it.
