check valve

Ok I've had a hard start problem for some time and got around to ordering the check valve,(from germany 2 weeks) from bmw they have giving me the check valve that goes into the fuel pump http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...16&fg=05&hl=20

They don't no anything about the in line one

This part has thread on it and is very hard to jam in the fuel line with some boiling water and alot of force it might work in line...But it might be un safe.

Take it back or give it a go.

I have giving them the code 16149068988 and It does not work.

How hard would it be for a very novice to put it in the pump with out screwing it up.
This is my only car And I need It daily

I have decided that I will install this part in the pump where it should go.
It would be too unsafe to jam it in the fuel line what was I thinking!!

I have study the realOEM site and looked at other peoples sites on when they changed there fuel pump.

I'm going to give it a go next weekend when I have more time.
Will change all the rubber lines in the back and change fuel filter while Im messing around.
