also is sachs and behr of the same quality - which is better?

First and foremost, its very easy to find available parts for your car using www.realoem.com
Here is a link to the fan clutch assembly breakdown: Clicky

There does appear to be a part number for a "tropical version" fan clutch. It is however marked as "ended" which likely means discontinued. Can't comment on the brand quality comparison. HTH

sachs or behr, the behr may be a little better, theres a 3rd brand that i can't remember at the moment that can be id'd by the @ shaped spring on the front of the clutch instead of the flat bi metallic strip on the sachs and behr, they are cheep but can suck, sometimes they lock up and explode the fan but usually they are engaged more of the time so while your car sounds like a ups truck it runs cool

Tropical version is only a bigger fan blade and different pulley, so that it runs faster.
    Winfred,
the 3rd brand should be Meyle.

same style spring but a different casting of the body (doesn't mean that they haven't changed them since the picture though) i just looked at one to see if it has any markings but they have meen machined off, which is fairly common for some aftermarket parts
