Where do I get trim for lower edge of doors?

Where do I get the black trim for lower edge of doors? The old trim cause the lower part of the door to rust a little. I am hoping there is an aftermarket trim that just glues on

I have a passanger side door and rear door in my garage, new never installed. only found 1 peice part # 51 21 1 944 420 its the pass door. $20.00 delivered if you want it.

The old ones pull off, no glue. new ones pop back on by hand.

Yes, the weatherstrip is a single part per door. Not to misunderstand it, I am talking about the part at the bottom of the door. Each has a differnt part number.

And there is no need to glue them on, just put them on and that's it.
Before however I would treat the lower edges of the doors. I used rust converter and then painted it.
No more rust since 3 years.

what did you use as a rust converter? I still have one side left to put on, and it's the side with the rust that i need to tackle.

I just used a japanese stuff bought from a car accessory shop, here some pics. The whiter the color the more the rust converter has developed the protection process

preparation for final paint coating. The paint I ordered in one of the car accessory shops based on the BMW paint number, they mixed it within 10 minutes, could select as a spray or for use with brush.

Among oldtimer fans vertan is quite popular, it converts the rust to a black layer.

copied from their instructions:

Remove loose rust and scale if possible. Wire brushing is good but, particularly if using a powered wire brush, you really must wear eye protection.

Fertan needs to get to the rust so the surface needs to be clear of oil and grease. De-greasing agents are really cheap from motor factors. Then apply Fertan with brush, roller, sponge or spray.

1 litre covers approximately 12 - 15 square metres (140 sq. ft.) of oxidised metal surface.

Fertan reacts well on wet surfaces and in damp/wet conditions. In dry conditions wet the surface with a water spray. Most of the reaction takes place within 24 hours but, if you can wait 48 hours, particularly in cold conditions. By cold we mean near freezing.

Check that the rust is completely converted to a black layer. If not then insufficient was applied, so apply another coat to the non black areas. You can apply extra Fertan during the 24 - 48 hours time, it will only do good.

Before painting the fertanised surface remove the loose black dust (don't try to remove the hard layer) with water hose (large areas) or damp rag (small areas). Let the surface dry again before any further painting.
FERTAN can be applied on any other rust proofing treatment and is recommended for maintenance intervention on previously painted oxidises areas.

On light paint colours, any spattering of Fertan should be washed off within an hour of application.

I am trying a product called rust bullet. This stuff is amazing. Clean up the rust the best you can and then coat with two coats of rust bullet and I is suppose to stop the rust for ten years. If the rust shows up again in 10 years just recoat. Check out the test videos on line
