How long until this depreciates to $20k? I'm guessing 4 years when the warranty is up. Finally a touring with an engine and a stick comes to the states. (roll your own e34's don't count )

jesus christ they are pricey. options really add up. seems like audi is becoming a better bargain anymore. better interiors, better reliabilty, better styling a better awd system...

    because they can't call it a 530Ti,530iT,530TTi or 530TiT?

    Remember the E23 745?

Same story with the new 535i i guess.

I wonder why they don't conform to previous model identification and call it 535ix ? Is that because they have started with 330ci etc to indicate coupe ?

Surely body shape is not the same as drivetrain option.

535 is used to indicate the twin turbo engine.

Therefore 535ix is the only logical badge number !

I would certainly like to own one, though, whatever it is called - shame it will never be sold in Oz.

Even tho it's a 3L, it approximates the output of a 3.5L, so they call it 535, 335, etc. That's how they came up with the e23 745, anyways...
