why the hell is it a 535 from what i can see its a 530? altho mine is a 535 when it should be a 534 but who the **** cares abotu that haha
because they can't call it a 530Ti,530iT,530TTi or 530TiT?
Remember the E23 745?
Same story with the new 535i i guess.
Q: What car do you drive?
A: I've got a 535TiT, its very slippery when wet
UK 1997 e34 540iA Touring, 1989 535i Sport - now sold, 1998 Mercedes CLK 200 Coupe
Lmao
i was there for the drive for the cure & they had one parked on the very back of the lot.
looks like fun.

I wonder why they don't conform to previous model identification and call it 535ix ? Is that because they have started with 330ci etc to indicate coupe ?
Surely body shape is not the same as drivetrain option.
535 is used to indicate the twin turbo engine.
Therefore 535ix is the only logical badge number !
I would certainly like to own one, though, whatever it is called - shame it will never be sold in Oz.

"I'm not the village idiot.
But when he retires I'm next on the list."
Even tho it's a 3L, it approximates the output of a 3.5L, so they call it 535, 335, etc. That's how they came up with the e23 745, anyways...
