Looks like replica E60 M5 wheels to me
Lets play "Name that Wheel"
225/40 R18 rims with a "M" logo. I'm guessing that 225 is way to small for something off an M3 or M5, so at best they are some "M sport" upgrade for a lesser 3/5. At worst they are some cheap replica.
These are on a 92 520i I've just bought.
I want to know if they are authentic BMW wheels, and if they are how much they're roughly worth. If its impossible to tell from the photo's is there a serial number somewhere on the rim i can look for?
They look nice on the car, but the 18" rims compromise the ride on Australia's crap roads, and are also making some suspension issues much more pronounced.
Also the tires fitted on the rims are some terrible nankang things which I want to get rid off. Problem is that good 18" tires are too expensive for my tastes. I'm pretty keen to sell the 18s and get some nice 16" or 17" rims with better rubber.

I had similar wheels on my car when I bought it (see footer!). Mine were replicas, not all reps are crap, original is better but a rep doesn't necessarily mean crap although it can. I've replaced mine with a set of 17in Style 5s which ride nicer as they have more rubber.

The only place I can think of unfortunately is Ebay which is hit and miss. I found them off ebay from a guy with an e39 540i who didn't really know what he was selling, got lucky I guess. They do need a refurb though. All other private ads i've seen are in really bad condition or mint but really expensive. Keep looking...
