    Default anyone replace there cat with a pipe?

    on my 90 525 my cat has several holes, was wondering if it would be better with straight pipes, there is no emisiion where i live, thanks

    thats what i did in mine...took out the cat and replaced it with 2 pipes only problem is everytime I start the car it says "catalyst" in the check control...I posted a thread about eliminating "catalyst" in check control but was to damn lazy to do it and just lived with it goes out after you start the car

    Running no cat or hi flow cats and a high flow muffler does make the car notably raspier.
