Default Shogun or those in Japan

    Hey guys,

I am interested in buying a set of wheels from Japan and wondered if you can help me out. How much do you figure the shipping cost for a set of wheels... let's say about 25kg per box and two boxes to USA?

There is two auctions I am interested in buying just one of the two... ends 7/7 and 7/8. I have paypal and can send money right away I will pay you for your time too.

25 kg box by EMS Yen 30,500
    2 x 25 kg boxes = Yen 61.000

    61,000 Japanese Yen = 495.35 US Dollar

Plus domestic transportation cost in Japan
    plus customs export declaration/clearance
    plus?
Don't forget the consumption tax someone residing in Japan has to pay of he buys in Japan. That comes on top.
Plus import handling charges in USA
    Plus import tax USA
Plus other cost in country of destination

I do not have Paypal, is not popular in Japan, we have a different system.

Better buy in the U.S. cheaper freight and maybe cheaper parts.

LOL.... boy, this sounds really really expensive... I might as well make a vacation of it... buy it, pay storage fee, travel to Japan, stick it in my hotel room (not cubicle) and take it home with me when done visiting.

What you need is to go there, meet Erich and have him introduce you to his Yakuza connections. Once you gain their confidence you might be able to have this stuff delivered along with some 'other shipments' bound for the USA
