    Default Side Mirrors

I've noticed that newer E34s have a different style side mirror similar to modern BMWs. So h'm curious, do you think the older style looks better or the newer one? I cant decide.

Pics for comparison would be great. Are you comparing the the first styled square mirrors with later styled square mirrors, or the square mirrors with the m5 round mirrors?

I like first set myself, and don't like what ebay calls "m5 mirrors"

well, the left ones are regular pre facelift, the right ones came with the facelift in e34s. no "m5" differences.....

I find the new ones are more practical as for me the old style ones sometimes impair your sideways vision when not using them as the housings are so big, I suspect thats why they changed them, the new ones don't do that. As for looks the old style looks chunkier and chunkier is better on an e34 in my opinion!

Perfect pics filip, thanks. My favorites are the post-face lift. But I'm biased.

I have both, the older style on my Sedan and newer on my Touring.

The later style does look neater with the black trim, but I wouldn't go out of my way to change my older ones.
