Just thought I would muse for a bit and share a revelation I recently had...
As I walked up my driveway and passed my beautiful black '94 530i (up on blocks with a drive train or tranny problem...still diagnosing) and then right in front of that my classic orange '82 320i (needing tires, front suspension parts and new front brake calipers) a tear wells up in my eye because my babies are both down and I can't drive them right now.
But then I think..."Hey! Having two broken down Bimmers is better than having none at all!"
Never fear though...thanks to this Bimmer Brotherhood and the Haynes and Bentley they shall both rise again. My wife has been out of work for a good while so buying food is a little more important than fixing my pride and joy. But she's working again and thar be light at the end of ye tunnel (the pirate said) !
