What size wheels doesn his M5 have because I've also noticed that his car looks a little high. if they're 18" wheels it might explain why

Mate - I'm pretty sure they are different. Our 535 has "226 SPORTS SUSPENSION SETTINGS" according to the delivery sheet - and whilst that doesn't say m-tech, it meant the same sort of price as the M5 stuff when I priced new shocks for it. The M5 front spring part number on realoem is 31332226287 and for the 535 it is 31331133337
edited to add - 17" wheels

etc
so "sport suspension settings" has diffrent springs? i'm asking because i allso have the code on my sheet and my car sits quite low (straight, with rears a bit under the fenders) but i assumed that's because of 17 years of age.
well of course they would be sagging if they had never been replaced, however I doubt there are different part numbers for the "sport suspension settings" and for normal settings, assuming its a 535 or same car. But I don't know for certain because I haven't researched this.
