Yeah, I'd say an 05' 330i would be in the high $20's American depending on the miles. This thing has got to be pretty f'ed up to be priced at $10K. Even on a salvage title it would still be closer to $20K than 10.
There are very few bimmers in my neck of the woods, so when I see an ad I usually read it. Noticed this
local ad for a 2005 330 (selling for ~ $10,000 CAN) and wondered what the going price for one is. I know i could easily search and find out, but its fun to ask. Also, notice the condition is posted in the ad as "Used-Poor", while below it states "Excellent condition inside and out".
What gives? I think I recognize the body shop its being photo'd at. They do good work (fixed my front end damage), but the seller may be trying to pass off a bent machine.
Anyhow,
Dave

the only way your gonna know for sure is to go and look at it, drive it etc. If it drives good go for it.

Yeah, 10K is too low to be normal for a car like that. There were some older 3 series that had auto transmission problems, but the car is too new even for that.
Oh, and glad to see you're finally looking towards the dark side
