A couple of years ago I read about all the different messages that could be displayed on the dash cluster check control display. IIRC there were level 1, 2 & 3 messages. Anyone have a link or help me with this? I'm curious to know of extra warnings added through the E34's production run.
Many thanks,
Shaun M

None, only difference is when you have a LKM-L or LKM-B.Do you know of any revisions or additions to the messages over the years?
LKM-L can also check the lights when they are switched off, LKM-B only when they are switched on.
And some other things does the LKM-L have such as "door open" "light on?" etc.
Thanks Dave and Shogun for your prompt and helpful replies - I am enlightened!Originally Posted by shogun

"Headlight bulb out".. But they're not even on!
Switch on lights, walk to front muttering about dodgy warnings and what a load of rubbish the check control is, watch the bulb "ping" and die. Walk back to car sufficiently humbled to never doubt the check control again.
