Radio Code

I used to have a 1989 525i, and the car got beyond repair, so I junk the car, but I kept the radio. Now I want to use the radio in my other car, but I can't remember the code. How can I find the code?
Can someone give me an idea.

Check the audio section at bimmerforums.com there is a fellow there that may help you if you have the brand and serial number.
