OT: ice storm
Just got power back after 9 days without. Temperatures were falling to 28 F indoors.
Never seen anything like it. Thought I would share some pictures.

Wasn't aware you guys were getting ice storms as far south as Oklahoma. Hope everyone is alright. We'll be seeing the same weather system tonight, but should only be snowfall. Our ice storm a number of years ago(Ontario/Quebec) did some major damage to property and lives.
Nice photos, looks like them new fangled christmas lights hangin everywhere.

Yeah the damage is amazing. The pictures really don't do it justice.
A state of emergency was declared in Oklahoma. Had ~15 states here from as far as Georgia trying to restore power to the ~300,000 homes. They wont be done till next week.

Wow. Indiana had an icestorm a few years back that devastated most of east central Indiana.
Just stay warm and stocked with food.

We had one that bad in Oregon around 5-7 years ago, but a less severe one about 3 years ago. I'm glad I didn't have my car before the first one.
