OT, anybody know of a video codec that actually works for wmp 11?
? i just upgraded to xp pro on my home machine and wmp 11 is pissing me off, i have xp home on my laptop and that was a pisser to get working when i finally got it going the bitch played upside down, found a converter to fix that but i don't want to go that route

now all that you have to do is update/reinstall the most current version, every 3-6 months, depending on how much questionable stuff you might view

vlc rocks... it's what i have to use on the mac to view most anything, including windows media files

i meant more "illegal" than pornographic--as compressing technology becomes more complex with time, you find that maybe you can't get your (cough) legitimate movie screeners to play without being jerky. k-lite seems to reliably fix such things, at least for me.
