Those radio unlocking code software sold on Ebay, do they work?

Just go to the dealer and they will give you the code, as long as you can show you own the unit.

Easier said than done my friend. I bought the radio on Ebay from someone who did not own the car so can get the VIN and Dealer wants the vin!

They don't need the VIN, they need the S/N for the radio. It's on a sticker on the unit itself. You must pull the radio out.
