    Very cool, its amazing how difficult it is to simulate animal movements, even moreso biped movement.

    I had 2 of these but with gas prices as they are I took them to the pound and got a turtle instead.


    Amazing that it learns as it goes, talk about cyborg technology wow.

    Now that could be a really useful device in hostile environments. I wonder what else DARPA have up their top secret sleeves?!

    This is actually something amazing, if not for it's ability to walk but it's ability to learn.

    The bit that had me in awe is where he kicks it hard and it recovers... being a former control systems engineer, I have to say hats off to the guys who designed this.

    I would *hate* to have to deal with the control equations behind the system.
