I went for it in the end... Looking at it was making me sick! Firstly it was grey and the rest of the interior is black! Secondly it was badly bleached by the sun and not as clean as it used to be...

Not the most professional job and I just used normal spray paint from B & Q but I much prefer it matching the seats etc!
I've still not managed to get mine done yet, maybe a job for this weekend. I got so sick of driving around with no rear seats in the car I put it back in temporarily..!
I did the same a couple of years ago. I used Duplicolor fabric and vinyl spray. Not an exact match for my parchement interior. hoever, holding up fine.

I took mine out and sent to local guy here in my town. Thirty five bucks later I have new felt and it matches with c pillars. He charges 100 for the headliner cabin. This shelf is much easier to R/R
Who knows what the plastic triangle thing is for?
Does it smell like paint in your car? It looks like the paint was applied kinda patchy. My shelf needs to be recovered badly too but I think I will just recover it with fake suede and tint the back windows.
