Cool,
I wanted to try LEDs, but I didin't have a test subject. ( My wife's car, so no Frankenstein action)
So..no error warnings? That's great!
How did you wire the LEDs up?
Parallel?
Series?
Resistors?
Got my hands on a Touring rearwindow incl. spoiler with a cracked 3rd brakelight, really cheap @ 22,5$!
My original hatch didnīt have the 3rd light so I opened the broken one up, got the bulbs and circuitboard out. carefully cut open the broken lamplens and fitted a 36 (or was it 32 ) LED high intensity flexible/adhesive 12V strip, glued the parts back together, fitted the lamp carefully using some silicone in the original mounts, passed the wires thru the body as the original would be and attached the wires directly to the right rear brakelight wires and bingo!
No warnings, bulb in lower brakelight take care of that.. Perfect light..
Sorry for the sh***y pic quality, seems like thereīs 2 rows of LEDs used my phone!
