Rear sway bar issue

So I have a Racing Dynamics rear sway bar that rattles when I go over bumps. The holes appear to be wallowed out. I plan on welding a reinforcement to each side and replace any links that need it. Is this common?
Do I hear an echo? Did I post this earlier?
