    Default Sawed off shotgun

Took my shifter knob apart and cut her down. Bored out the center shaft so that the shifter rod would go all the way through to the top of the knob. Left just a little room to attach the knob cover. Wrapped the shaft with Parafilm (wax film), so it can be removed. Filled in the cavity with JB Weld. Must of removed about 3 inches from the height. Man this thing is cool, Shifts sharp and clean. Makes me want to go out and drive, just to shift Lot more room for my coffee mug and ipod too.

... so its not the length that counts?

Haahaha... was wondering about that too.

Nice close up of that lil' stubbie. Beware the pedantics telling you your boot needs a clean...

Yeah that's what I did with mine. I fitted a short-shift lever from a modded E30, then had the lever height cut right down as short as physically possible - I reckon mine stubbier than yours though!
