E39 US side markers?
Does the E39 have a similar option for US side markers like they did on the E34
Red markers at the side rear and orange at the front like this?

Not on the bumper as far as I know... they had it on the fender between the front tire and front door.
The difference between the E34 and E39 on the front end is the turn signal... E34 turn signal by the headlight cannot be seen from the side hence the bumper side marker. The E39 has actual sidemarker that can be seen from front and side... so it makes the bumper sidemarker useless.... which is also covered by the fender side marker.

My side marker is on the backside of the fender as Tiger stated. Pic for reference... it's right above the belt-line trim.
