Light on cluster unknown

95 E34, have a light on the cluster, circular arrow with a triangle within, it's orange. My ASC switch does not light anything and I'm wondering if the cluster light represents that? Cluster light is between the speedo and tach, just below centre...bought the car with the light this way..
