    Default Turbo 535i Update

The car has been running 10psi non intercooled for about 500 miles now. Been getting beaten on pretty regularly! It's obviously in prototype form but works very well. We hope to dyno it soon and then intercool it. I suspect we'll eventually get to at least 15psi.

Cool. Looks like you also added a hotter ignition for the turbo setup. Is that a Jacobs Pro-street?

Actually we added a MSD Blaster 2 Coil for a hotter spark and a MSD BTM to retard timing under boost. Our other cars use the MSD6BTM which is a multi spark ignition with integrated timing controller.

Like this? It will be similar to our e28 535i setup.

Default I wouldn't call it "beat on"..its just uh product development...

Seriously; however, it's a lot more fun to drive.

Default Yep. Bone stock B35 with 112,000 miles...

Just did the standard tune-up stuff prior to the swap. Hope to get it on the dyno shortly. We'll post the results when we do.
